Unleaded Seats

This conversion is still a very popular service today. When older vehicles operate on modern unleaded fuel, the valves can gradually wear into the valve seats due to the lack of lubrication that leaded fuels once provided.

The solution is to remove the original, often worn seat and install new hardened valve seats designed to withstand the increased wear associated with unleaded fuel.

Retrofitting older engines with unleaded-compatible valve seats is essential to prevent premature valve and seat damage when using modern fuels.

The process involves cutting out the old seat, pressing in the new one, and machining it precisely to the correct angle and height.
